Wow I don't know where to start with this chat. I frankly adore it. The admin is lovely and I have very few problems with it myself. I don't exactly think this counts as a Hetalia chat but most people do seem to RP Hetalia there. I was in there earlier today and a lot for a couple months.
The design of this chat. Black. Simple black. I like that, it isn't some vomit inducing purple or something like some chats I know. The admin is what I honestly like the most. Her Greenland OC is fucking amazing. I wish I was nearly as smart enough to make an OC that good.
This probably won't be a very long review because I'm fuck-all tired from work.

That emoji "u w u" It makes me want to punch a wall to feel manly again. First of all I agree with all of the rules posted. I don't think that " Ata's House" thing needs to be there but it really is up to them. Now onto the roleplaying there
It's perfect I'm telling you now.
Everyone I've ever seen roleplay there(Except for one really stupid person) roleplayed beautifully. Even the smut was good. Do you understand how hard it is to find good smut? I rather shoot myself in the head to read most roleplays but I found myself enjoying the many I found here. The lack of drama on this chat is wonderful as well. I adore how the moderators and admin deal with problems( HetaCancer take a fucking note) But lets go on to what I don't like
So much OOC talk. That isn't a big problem but it's there. Another thing is I'm horribly confused as to who half of these people are roleplaying in the first place.
Other than that I think it's a nice room.
OVERALL RATING: If you don't mind a small(ish), multi-fandom chatzy this is perfect for you. I recommend it.

As a room moderator of this chat, this review makes me very proud. I am the one called "Mutti", though I go on as any number of characters because I love being in the chat. We're all friendly and kind to each other, and it's a very loving, and open environment. Rules are there to be followed, and everyone does his/her best to respect and follow them, as well as respect each other. It's a room we all enjoy, and while it may not be as popular as HetaCancer, it's still safer considerably. Yeah, we all have our bad days, or our times of being an asshole(me especially; I've got quite the temper), but it's generally fun, and we all have a very tight knit group of admin and moderators, and we love and respect each other. We expect high things of those who come in, but we expect no less of ourselves, and that's what makes us different from HetaCancer; We care about improving ourselves, and helping others improve. In all, this review is wonderful, and I, on behalf of Ata's House, thank you for your compliments and praise.

Was banned the instant they came into our chat. We never once used her for any such thing. Ata instead went into the hacked chats to post the link for the safe URL so people could join if they wanted. We only ban idiots and people who break the rules multiple times. And coming in from HetaCancer to come bitch at us and call us less than kind things for banning Iva after she repeatedly banned us from her room without incident warrants a banning also. Get your facts straight, and don't go and spread lies when you don't actually know the situation. Good day.

ReplyDeleteI regret to inform you that the members of this room (Let's Crash Ata's House) conducted a raid on an RP room I was in for no reason other than they did not like the way we rped. I will admit we do not post paragraphs 24/7 and our rules could use some work but we did nothing unfriendly to provoke a raid. They came in arguing with mods who had politely asked them to follow our rule of no double characters at the same time then spammed us with links to the Ata Hourse chat saying that if we wanted an 'undramatic chat room' or a 'safe haven' to go to we could go there. While I met some excellent roleplayers in this room I honestly do not think they acted in a manner that is mature, or befitting the glowing review given to them here. I am sharing this to their review to give any readers a bit of input. This is a quote one of the users posted in the Ata room talking about our room which soon after this was posted the members of the Ata room came to raid and abuse our room.

Ahaha, apologies for the delay, but the guy who designated itself to do this job was particularly busy throught the days. I'll be replying now with the assumption that this is from the World Tour chat, considering the time and the events occurring prior to the review to which I am replying.
DeleteFirst of all, it was in a sense, not without reason why the people came flooding in. As far as I remember, a particular person in the other chat was somehow griping as they were not getting a reply to one of the people residing in ours. Said person in our chat made a comment about it in NordisktKors, and sent in a link when people asked for it. I doubt that that was against the rules, basing from what I see in the room board and the welcome message.
Coming from this, it wasn't even a raid. People came in to check, and they roleplayed as their own muses. In any case, chatroom-hopping is an occasional pastime in NordisktKors as some sort of team-building activity or when the mood strikes for it. In addition, while we do tend to have strong opinions on how the people in World Tour played their characters, we did not by any means stepped up and said it right in their faces. We did not insult their style in their chat because that would be uncalled-for and rude. I don't think there's any wrong with having an opinion about other people, especially considering that we were following their rules to the best that we can.
And the people there /did/ RP. We weren't doing anything wrong, until someone pointed out that there was a 'no doubles' rule in the room— and it wasn't in any way mentioned within the room. While they said that the room administrator was on hiatus, they could have at least tried to make it known via room board, as they did with the 'no crossovers' rule. If they wanted to have their rules taken seriously, then they ought to make it stated concretely, rather than saying it out-of-the-blue and hammering us down with it. And I do think that changing characters in the middle of an RP is downright rude, if any case. Besides, I do think that bearing the same character as one of the mods would be irrelevant if the newcomer isn't even RPing in there at all.
While the spamming went a tad overboard, I agree with that at least, it exactly wouldn't be done without a reason-- that is, people started being assholes about rules that weren't even made known to incoming people, in the first place. Personally speaking, I don't have a bone to pick with shitty muse-portrayals, but I do have serious issues about shitty admins and the like. As part of Ata's House, there are also people there who RP marvellously and are kind and accommodating people, but they could have done a better job in running a chatroom to the best of their abilities, which they have done quite insufficiently, and disrespectfully in fact. We make friends with people from other chats, we try to get along with people when we can; the problem arises when people are making assumptions and being hardasses about it when the facts and figures have been laid out in front of them, and refuse to see it as such.
TL;DR – We're trying to be nice, we were harassed for disobeying a rule we didn't even see beforehand, and then shit hit the fan.
Ata's chat is full of liars who bully other people if they don't agree with Ata+friends' ideas. I say this as someone who was a mod for 2 years. I was her personal attack dog. Then I found out just how mean she can be, As soon as I learned she wasn't a sweede, she dealt me the b ack of her hand and ignored me until I went away. I was the Shortfence she may have often talked about. Now that room isn't even a hetalia room I'm sure- She's mentioned how people who like hetalia are racist. Kinda funny coming from someone like her.
